If you’ve been following this blog, you’ll know that last week I visited Stockbridge Library and chatted to the Stockbridge library book groups about The Blue Suitcase and my new novel Food of Ghosts. It was a lovely evening. What you may not know, however, is that the visit is one of a number of author visits I’m doing at Edinburgh Libraries over the next month or so. My second library visit was last Thursday and I went to Ratho Library. What can I say? The Ratho book group ladies certainly know how to enjoy themselves. There was fish and chips and caramel wafers and wine – this is my kind of library and I so want to join this book group! What a brilliant audience, what great questions and what a lovely evening. A big thanks to Ratho Library and the book group ladies for making me feel so welcome :o)
On Tuesday the 9th I’m visiting McDonald Road Library. If you are in the area and want to find out about the inspiration behind The Blue Suitcase, or about my debut crime novel, Food of Ghosts, do come along. It’s free but you do need to contact the library to book your place.
